By the virtue of our baptism, we are called to be witnesses, during
opportune and inopportune times. Today the world needs signs it can
understand – and the signs of faith calls for Love and Unity! For
people to believe that God exists, it’s not enough that we give a
person a book, or present an intellectual thesis. People today need to
know if the Father is good for something in his life. People today want
to know if being a Christian will benefit him. What prompts a person to
desire for faith is the fact that he sees in others the sign of love
from Heaven. When he sees forgiveness, selflessness, charity, humility,
he will see “Christ” resurrected. He will witness that the Holy Spirit,
the Spirit of truth, is not a figment of any imagination but a concrete
reality.
More than anything else, witnesses to the love of God are needed today,
more desperately than ever before. The Lord stayed with the disciples
and promises to be with us also during those moments when we may have
to testify with our lives, relating our experiences on how the Lord
works in our lives, so that we may become people for others, and united
with others who share these experiences. Maybe it’s about time we stand
up for our faith. Maybe we should even start examining and recounting
the first the miracles the Lord has shown us in our lives. Jesus has
been saving us all these years; through our gratitude we can be
witnesses and bring others to Him also.

Finally,
we pray
for one another, for those who have asked our prayers and for those who
need our prayers the most.
Have a
good day!
